Andrew Goodwin's Theory (1922)

Andrew Goodwin argues that in music video 'Narrative relations are highly complex' and meaining can be created from the individual audio-viewers musical personal musical taste to sophisticated intertextuality that uses multidiscrusive phenomena of western cultutere. Many are dominated by advertising references, film pastiche and reinforce the postmodern 're-use' traiditon.
